With a catchy EDM tune and dance-pop production and build-up, Spicy Tempo’s “Yucatán” combines the minimal essentials of composition with an appealing and relatively cheerful rhythm and pace to create an anthem that gets you moving immediately.
Spicy Tempo was inspired to make his banger track and video ‘Yucatán’ after visiting Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and experiencing the sights and sounds of this beautiful Caribbean coastal area with cities like Cancun and Playa del Carmen and its vibrant nightlife, tropical white coral sand beaches, lush green forests, amazing wildlife, ancient Mayan structures, and emerald waters brimming with sea life.
The music features Spicy Tempo’s signature sound of using a harmonious blend of instruments including guitar, piano, violin and driving bass and kick drum backed by synth, strings, drums, and percussion.
A rhythmic click eventually causes things to brighten and energize – the layers begin to fall into place, an atmosphere of building expectation develops and intensifies, and the soundtrack makes to its delicately passionate heights, clearing the way for the exhilarating atmosphere that follows.
“Yucatán” by Spicy Tempo is a track that is easy to get lost in, providing enough space for the mix while also delivering a tremendous hit of energizing presence in and of itself.
Spicy Tempo began his music career playing guitar with the pop group ‘The Thunders’ on television and at numerous venues, including concerts, clubs, and holiday resorts.
He moved on his own debuting with an album, “Cool Spice,” released in 2013, following with his second album “, Mirror of Dreams,” released in 2014. He has released a great number of music tracks and videos since then which are popular on Spotify, YouTube and other platforms.
Spicy Tempo creates a world where intriguing sound-design of modern and energetic flavors meets the weight and presence of nostalgic dance — the result is a world that is both artistically philosophical and irresistible in its rhythms.
