Mantooth, the trash-rock fiends from Idaho, are back with their latest release, “I’m The Romantic.” This hard-rocking first single is a delight-filled video that showcases the band’s unique sound and style. Directed, shot, and edited by the wild man Ryan Bayne, the video features some wonderfully talented Idahoans, including Grace Fiderlick, Maika Jacoba, Chelsea Klikunas, Jen Potcher, and Ellen Smith. The demented cameo from Katie Preston is not to be missed.
“I’m The Romantic” is a classic example of Mantooth’s rock and garage-punk style, and it’s the first single off their new album, “Mantooth in Love,” which is set to release soon. The album was produced by Mantooth and Jason Ringelstetter at The Tonic Room in Boise, Idaho.
The band comprises Jay Jeargen Angst on drums, Robert Davis on bass, J Todd Dunnigan on keys, John F. Edsall (J Mantooth) on vocals, and Douglas Taylor on guitar. Make-up was done by MzCarrieBzinc (Carrie Padilla), and special effects were handled by Dustin Scott.
Mantooth’s “I’m The Romantic” is a must-watch for rock and garage-punk fans.
