Skyline Forest, a creative producer and contemporary sound designer, delivers a fresh new, deeply immersive composition, the likes of which raise his particularly detailed, hypnotic approach to audio creation to new heights.
The project is Terraspheres, a broad and introspective trip that begins with exquisitely contrasted delicacy and echoing bass sounds. The introduction of Earth Waves, a part of Terraspheres, combines aspects of nature with a more ethereal,sci-fi-esque flavour for a tremendously captivating and completely engulfing listen.
Skyline Forest is an exploration of music by seasoned composer and keyboardist Daniel Stein. Inspired by world-renowned ambient pioneers Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis, Dan combines classic analog synthesis with acoustic instruments to create an atmospheric journey.
As a seasoned artist, he has achieved Gold Record for synth programming for James Taylor. He is also composing and arranging for Disney, ABC, HBO, and others.
Earth Waves is one piece of his debut EP, Terraspheres, which is released on Spotify.
Skyline Forest’s new instrumental, Earth Waves, is an exploration of sound that is both intensely personal and broadly universal. This is music that engages the mind and emotions, transporting the listener to new dimensions of inner and outer space.
The ambient side of Earth Waves ebbs and flows with a natural grace, while the more electronic elements provide pulsing energy and drive. The result is a sonic landscape that is at once haunting and beautiful, otherworldly and yet deeply rooted in the Earth.
The synths are beautifully arranged, the melodies are haunting, and the sound design is top-notch. Skyline Forest has created a masterpiece with Earth Waves, which is not surprising as he is a Gold Record recipient for synth programming for James Taylor.
