Robby Riggs brings a take on modern music that is influenced by a variety of sources. The beginning riff’s smoothness and warm atmosphere have an unmistakable classic vibe to them. The beat has a lot more emotional touch, which works great. It’s nostalgic and straightforward in creating the tone and providing the groundwork for the following lyricism.
Aside from that, the subtle personality of Ileen Laura’s voice adds a new dimension to this time-tested genre, imbuing it with a distinct stamp of individuality and raising the inherent emotions of the song to a higher level than before.
“MISS YOU” rises tall on the strength of its composition and performance. It’s well-crafted, familiar for its pop features, yet unique in its details, layers, and the subtly recognized tone of Ileen Laura’s voice.
Robby Riggs’ writing style and arrangement, as well as Ileen Laura’s voice, shine brilliantly with approachable yet intimate and honest traits.
The release, which comes with a series of equally dreamlike graphics, pays homage to a simpler time while showcasing two musicians with exceptional capability and vocal style, as well as a rebellious dedication to the moment.
