Introducing an aptly-titled yet completely unpredictable project from a musician and songwriter with a strong enthusiasm for the energy and escapism of music in all of its forms, Fourloko blends in with the current trend of bedroom-pop, but with his own originality, flare, and character.
JJunkai is an independent pop/indie pop artist who was inspired by Omar Opollo and Jaden. He is based in Los Angeles, CA, and his music is available on all major streaming platforms.
Fourloko kicks in with mellow acoustic guitar synths that lull the listener in a false sense of security before the first verse jumps in with an earworm melody and some expert vocal layering that is pure pop perfection.
The production is top-notch, with the perfect mix of organic and electronic elements that come together to create a soundscape that is both familiar and fresh. The songwriting is smart and catchy, with a chorus that will stay with you long after the song is over.
If there’s anything to blame, it’s the brevity of the track, clocking in at just over two and a half minutes. But with a song this good, it’s hard to complain.
Fourloko is the perfect summer song and is sure to get you moving and grooving. If you’re looking for something new and exciting, be sure to check out JJunkai and his latest release, Fourloko. You won’t be disappointed.
