As a music writer, I’ll talk about this release objectively to give you a broader scope of how it actually sounds. However, as a fan, I’ll talk about it from a very personal perspective, because music means something all at once different and the same to all of us. I love this song, the video, and everything they both stand for. Keisha Schneck is one of the truly talented, magnificent and awesome souls who loves to find new musical destinations in her career. She has recently released her track “Forget About Me” to all the audience out there with a great vibe and a unique touch all over the track.
Keisha is an exciting new international artist, born in Sri Lanka but living and studying in Spain for most of her life. After Ooh La La, “Forget about me” is her second release on Nimi Records. Keisha has a cool and smooth RnB vocal sound that works great across various genres including, as in this case, pop.
The artist’s voice is one of the first things to step forward, portrayed up close and personal, carrying the melody and concept along with a gentle and accessible voice that seems all at once characterful and believable. Musically the track is superb, crafted, and produced to a flawless standard that is ready and waiting to be played at full volume by all who hear it. The melody is one that sinks in slowly, allowing you to familiarise yourself with the entire soundscape first and foremost, then settling in for good to the point that you’ll have the sound of that hook in your mind for some time after listening as well.
