Tragic Bloody Fools have been skillfully and charismatically paving their way through the alternative music scene in recent months. “Drowning Man” is the recently released track by this awesome band with true color. Tragic Bloody Fools is a 4-piece rock band from Southern California, formed in 2021 from a collection of seasoned players that play like a brilliant team.
Jason Siete James has deep down, strong vocals; Vinay Kumar is a talented and versatile guitarist; Erik Piazza delightfully pounds the Bass with an awesome passion, while Justin Scott takes control of the space with his magnificent drumming skills. Inspired by Tool, Deftones, Alice In Chains and Chevelle, these amazing souls always are about to make a change in the music industry. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses syncopated rhythms, etherial guitars and dark lyrical themes, delivered with a captivating and high energy performance.
There’s a depth to this track, even a darkness, which really makes it feel like it’s in a league of its own entirely. As always, the changes are immaculate, the music builds and builds, breaks away, is structurally creative and captivating, and yet in amongst all of this there’s a definite feeling of something new having been achieved. It’s like the band have taken this incredible leap forwards into alternate territory, without sacrificing any of what we loved about them in the first place.
As the audience, we have to give Tragic Bloody Fools props for bringing back things we loved the most about rock music, and fused it effectively with the fresh and addictive sounds of “Drowning Man.” Join the “Foolish Ones” to stay tuned for more amazing work in near future.
