Creative production and contemporary trap rhythms meet with an equally modern and refreshingly emotive storyline and melody – 6ix Change gets conceptual and ambient with 4DaNight. Partly on point in terms of the current sound of the hip hop landscape. partly also in tune with its own sense of purpose and depth. 4DaNight feels like a laid-back anthem and groove, with a twist of intention woven into the verses.
6ix Change is an upcoming trap artist from Jamaica Queens who loves and adores music since his small days. In his early days hip hop trap music was his relax point and happy place. That made him love the genre and wanted to be a trap artist on his own so that he can make others happy and motivated. Trap music gave him the self confidence he needed to face the hardships in life. Artists like Myself , Young Thug, Max B , Drake, Kanye were his heroes , but as an upcoming star he wants to create his own music and build an identity for himself without copying others. This makes his songs quite popular among the listeners and he is already making a big noise in the trap community with his music. As listeners we get a fresh and positive vibe from his songs that certainly helps to cheer up our moods.
Lyrically interesting but not always easy to follow due to the production effects, 4DaNight keeps you intrigued throughout and manages to maintain a strong rhythm and vibe with the melodies and quiet confidence of the performances. Vocally strong and perhaps craving a little more clarity, a live delivery would undoubtedly fill every gap and finish things off well. Great production overall though, an enjoyable sound with a catchy progression and a pair of voices well-suited to the style. Hopefully there’s more music to come.
